Ok I need a Masres help, Please
Well here I sit , very humbly asking how to undo my brainstorm. I rescanned channels on satelite last night, and now I have 4-6 of each channel, 202 4 times, 182, etc.. So now, can anyone help me get rid of the duplicates, and straighten out my mess.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Ok I need a Masres help, Please
I usually dont default unless I have to, I just delete all channels and autoscan, it saves writing the antenna settings down and re-entering them. It works fine for me.

Re: Ok I need a Masres help, Please
i do factory deafault on my box every month, especially now with all the channel changes, not saying its not necessary TNP12, but sometimes the providers beaver and dishy, lol change stuff around and add or move channels or even changes in the epg guide, but either way will get rid of the double channel problem.

i find doing factory default very usefull to ,just to update tps and channels but most of all to become very familiar with your set up.

Re: Ok I need a Masres help, Please
I guess its a personal preference, I just find the less you mess with the stb's the less problems you will have but with a site like aba to fall back on if you like to default you can be sure you will end up with tv eventually!

Yep just like a computer, router, etc. Programs do not release the memory properly and eventually its full. My router was up 23 addys just from playing with other wireless stuff. Even though Vista is the greatest software ever......
