Been away on a European vacation and would like to request an update
Hello,
I just joined the site and would like to kindly ask for an update or any suggestions.
My wife and I have just returned from a one month vacation in Europe and wanted to relax and unwind with a movie last night but I'm not picking up any channels (no S.U.N.S....)
I purchased a Nuvenio NV HD this past December and locked on to 110 single. Everything had been great up until now. Previously I have had to update new bins (twice) but there doesn't seem to be any new ones out there. I also purchased the wireless connectors which link my router to the receiver after it was explained to me that this would automatically update the receiver for me however I think I am missing something as this has not been the case.
As you can probably tell I am not too "satelite knowledgable" which is why I would kindly ask another member if they would take the time to update me what has been going oon, what my options might be, and provide any further suggestions or recommendations.
Thanks in advance

Re: Been away on a European vacation and would like to request an update
all dn channels went to n3 (which bev did this past november) last week
you will have to wait until nfusion updates their servers with the new channels

Re: Been away on a European vacation and would like to request an update
Hi,
Thanks for the responses. I am still new to all this so I don't really know what bev is, or most short forms people are using. From what I can tell you are suggesting that I load the latest bin ......nv...21... and then when i reboot the system choose the suggested (91W) and then try to reposition the dish to pick this single up?

Re: Been away on a European vacation and would like to request an update
BEV = Bell ExpressView is a Canadian Satellite Provider (Nimiq). Mainly these satellites reside at 82.0 W and 91.0.
W.91 for SDTV and 82.0 for HDTV. Your nFusion will give you a variety of channels on both.
They are duplicate on many channels so focusing a twin or two LNB’s to get both won’t benefit you much.

Don't expect anything from DN on your nFusion at this time except preview channels.
Subject change, soon I hope.

Re: Been away on a European vacation and would like to request an update
For now you may want to see what's available on 91 and 82, just turn your dish to that location.

Re: Been away on a European vacation and would like to request an update
Okay, Thanks for the advice. Would you need to load a specific bin for these coordinates or is the latest one provided back in February the most up to date? I recently downloaded one with ...nv...21 in it.

Re: Been away on a European vacation and would like to request an update
If you have loaded the latest nfusion "bin" then all thats need is to aim to the BEV birds configure any or all switches -n- scan for channels.
BTW 91.0W will pickup some 500 er so channels and 82.0W will pick up 140, i forget, channels.
aim at 82.0W if your only interested in HDTV

Re: Been away on a European vacation and would like to request an update
Thanks everyone for the assistance, this is a great community!
I tried finding 91W Niq.. but could not pick anything up. The left bar reads 99% but I can't get anything to show up on the right hand side bar. I tried dishpointer.com last night and it gave me the coordinates but without a compass I guess it will be trial and error.
As for set up, I choose auto install, 91W, none for disq... and something else. I then ran through the channel selection which pulled in about 450 or so, but I guess without a proper lock I am not going to pull in any of the channels.
Any further suggestions?

Re: Been away on a European vacation and would like to request an update
I've got the single strength on both the right and left side to 99% but after scanning channels in the screen reads "service not available". Should I make changes to the antenna set up regarding the disqc mode, option, legacy ect.?
