It just doesn't add up???

So you are ready for a scan of 129 and transponder 12516 shows S=70 and Q=94, but if you change to TP 12501 or 12486, S drops to 10 and Q goes to zero. That just doesn't add up. You know you are on 129 because you have found the congrats for pointing at 129 channel.

If you have that strong of a signal and quality why are the other TPs dead???

6 day old SV8000HD with factory installed and tested HD parts.

there are some tp's that don't have anything on them
check lyngsat and see if the tp's you are missing have any channels on them

Both those TSP are broadcasting.

If i look at 12224 on 119 which doesn't broadcast, my S drops to 80 but on 12239 S and Q are both 99

You may not be dialed in perfectly on 129. some TSP show and some Don't. It might take a very small tweak to the dish to fix your issue, or it may be a setting issue, but we don't know your equipment or settings....

I have checked and they do. The interesting thing here is that any TP that shows a SR of 20000 works fine. As soon as I hit one that is 21500 (HD channels) S drops to almost zero and Q is at zero. Makes one think someone in factory did not do a good job of testing after they installed the HD boards. Any TP in a TP list that states mode as QPSK works. Any that show mode as Turbo-8 are dead. ?????

You may have a point here. I do not have signals that are that high. Looking right now at 110 TP 12224 I have S:64 and Q:48
Too much dam cold 55 degrees here in Michigan and rain to setup "check station" at the dish to try to get better readings from sats. Maybe Thursday late in day.

Info states LNB frequency set as 10750 in receiver menu for the special LNB.

found the channel that congrats you for locating thr 129 location so I know I am there.

Found time Thursday late afternoon to get out to the dish and make some micro adjustments. Got signal and quality up much higher. Also got head out of sand and have the HD working well. Now if we could only get that every 30 seconds freeeeeeeze out of there. Someday. . . .
