About D/N , Need a little help.

Alright , I brought a Viewsat Ultra receiver about a year ago and I'm not using it anymore . I'm using my friends extra receiver from D/N and I was wondering if somehow I could use the card in the D/N receiver in my Viewsat receiver because I need a TV with cable in my game room and I was thinking I could just take the card out and put it in the Viewsat box whenever I am hanging out on the w/e's But keep in mind ,right now the working D/N receiver is using the 62.5 sat and the sat going to my game room is looking at 110.

you cant use the vs but you might be able to use the dn receiver but you will have to have both sats hooked upto the receiver and then use diplexers to get tv on both sets just keep in mind that what is on in one room will be on in the other. need more info like what receiver what kind of dish/lnb?

What if I were to somehow get another D/N receiver . Could that work ? This is what I am thinking I would do and keep in mind I do not have a clue about all this stuff . I was thinking I would always have my current D/N box hooked up and use the 62.5 & 72 Sat . and then have the new D/N box which will be a very cheap non HD box hooked up in the game room using the 110 Sat. and then every time I want to use the game room receiver just take the card out of the current receiver and just put it in ...... could this work that easy ?and if not can someone explain what I should do .I have a Vip211-HD box right now and use a TurboHD Sat. and I don't know anything about my Lbn's .

Hi first time on the site! I have a sonicveiw8000 and my brother told me I could update it to start getting sat. again Does anyone know what I need to do? he says something about a hub?
