I would hold off right now. I have tested all 3 models. Server not stable. And who knows what's up with the new lan setup. If you got the cash try a satzen or cnx. Just a thought.

I'd hold off for 2 to 3 months on any purchase. There are several new HD receivers coming out on the market. It will be interesting to see which ones are stable.

If you buy a standard definition receiver, it could be out-of- date by 2012 when DN supposedly switches all of its channels to 8PSK modulation. Currently, only HD boxes will support this mode.

If you do not really need an HD unit, a good solid SD unit might be a better bet now.

thats two years !!!

if you get two years out of a SD receiver i would consider yourself very lucky.....you got your moneys worth after the first 3-4 months !!!

yes 2 years out of a reciever would make alot of people happy thats for sure.i have had only 1 reciever that surpassed the 2 year mark...lol
