Re: Sub and fta.
Hey there GoldFinger2, I just did a google search on your question and it brought up 10 different ways you can do that without having to unhooking cables all the time, by reading it , it doesn't look to difficult , just type your question in thats what I did with your question and it brought up everything you needed to know, hope this helps or maybe someone might pop on and let you know,,,, myself I just use the input button on my tv remote and that takes me either to my receiver,, tv or dvd, usually, AV 1---AV2---AV3 on my tv remote. Also I am using the 4 by 1 disqswitch. So if I want to watch sub I hit the input button, takes me to sub, hit it again takes me to av 2 , receiver,,, av3 dvd.

Re: Sub and fta.
>simplest approach (if u have 2 coax lines into the house) is run one coax to the sub DVR box and the 2nd to the FTA box..piece of cake...
>twin tuner sub dvr box can run 2 tvs independently from the FTA stb |

Re: Sub and fta.
GOLDFINGER2 - What are the Satellites that you are watching on your Sub?
If it is just 119 and 110 then follow satmaxx's suggestion of connecting another cable from the Dish Pro LNB to your FTA receiver. In Antenna Settings you will set the following. Sat..............119....................110 LNB Type....OCSDP.................OCSDP DiSEqC Sw...Port 1.................Port 2 All others as before. However, if it is the one with 118 included let us know. |
