I've gone from cable to sats, and have been doing this for almost 10 years. I'm tired. I am not on top of it as I used to be, nor am I that interested anymore. I am just going to sit back and watch the younger gen do this.

I just wanted to wish all of you good luck. This is a great site for info. Actually, it was the main (and pretty much only) FTA site that I stuck with. The admins are great. I have rarely seen a post go unanswered, it's really the best site out there, trust me.

I started here with my Neusat HDs (x2), to the viewsat extremes (x2), to the SV4000 (x2), the finally the NFusion Phoenix. As you can tell, I've been through my share of boxes, and today I admit defeat. I just ordered Time Warner. Haha...flame away, but I'm jumping ship. I will be ghosting the site to see what's new and will jump on when things get a little more stable (which it eventually will).

Thanks for your good wishes and kind words and for being here with us for over 2 years! There is nothing wrong with a sub, lots of members have subs.....it makes down time less painful! lol

it will get better my friend but it,ll take sometime but i think sooner or later n3 is going to be broken like they say if man made it and man will brake it, but its going to take awhile so good luck on warner cable in the meantime and don,t be a stranger and drop by on time to time my friend,chow,,,

Yes, I will definitely be lurking around here. I'm really not that old in life, just old in this game. Just feel like I don't have much to offer, I don't know.

Realistically I just can't take the questions from the rest of the family in the house. 3 others, every day, plus the people (Friends, clients, etc) I turned onto N2 "whats going on, whats going on, are we going to have TV yet, etc." like I run the scene or something. It's been what, 6 months since a stand alone? The last thing I'm trying to do is explain IKS to friends and fam, I only did NF for myself...

So ya, next time someone asks me it's "I don't know, I'm a subscriber!"
On a month to month contract *hint*

You have plenty to offer...just being here to chat is fine.
We are all family & don't think that you don't matter.
IKS is different from what you had in the past..but not so hard to test.
You might want to pick up a unit & play around with it & see.
The sub is a good idea for backup...even for a tester.
Then, after you become familiar with it...you may wish to share with others. (it's a personal choice)
This game is changing all the time...

So Time Warner is here, and the guy was about to disconnect all my Dish Equipment to use my existing lines for his POS digital cable runs.

Him - why, didn't you cancel dish? you don't need these.
Me - Yes, but I may go back eventually.
Him - When are you going back?
Me - I dont know. A month, 6 months, who knows? (as I stand next to
stack of 5 FTA receivers)
Him - Well are you going to cancel TW when you go back?
Me - Just run new lines please, I want dedicated lines.
Him - OK (walks away straight pissed).

NF went the same route as others have either gone or struggling to do the best possible with resources applied - unstable and so forth..IKS...???
