Winrar and winzip...needed to open up files in forums
AS U will see, most all files here are .rar or .zip files...that means they have been compressed to save space...almost all places use these file extensions and type files...U must "open " up the compressed files...some .rar and.zip files may have 1-10 files within that 1 file..U cannot load .rar or .zip files into your receiver (FTA or DN) or plastic cards..U MUST open them up FIRST!
So for .zip files U need to use winzip to unzip/uncompress/open it up...here's where to get a free winzip utility program to download and install on your computer.. WinZip® - The Zip File Utility for Windows - Zip/Unzip, Encrypt/Decrypt
Now for .rar files U need to use winrar to uncompress/open them up...winrar will OPEN BOTH .rar AND .zip files!...here's where to get a free winrar utility program to download and install on your computer..
WinRAR download and support. WinRAR is a powerful Windows tool to compress and decompress zip, rar and many other formats: Homepage

Re: Winrar and winzip...needed to open up files in forums
If you are into Macs get yourself neoOffice and unzip em in osx.
It's free, but they do ask for a small donation.
I stand corrected! Just get a Mac and osx.?. Ahhh..... Apple is so easy. lol
