coolsat 4000 problem

Hi everyone. I have a coolsat 4000 Pro, i had a problem with the unit freezing up and rebooting. I downloaded the new bin 149 and installed and now it still happens. I then did a factory reset and installed the 120 file and another factory reset and then the 149 bin again and another factory reset. It still freezes and reboots after about 5 minutes....is there a working bin for the 4000 or any fix?

It looks like the receiver was already doing the rebooting before you loaded the new bin ,,,right,,,,,,,,try unpluging it from its current location and plug it in to another receptor outlet,,,,in another room,,leave it pluged in for a while to see if it reboots itself,, if its ok take it back to original location plug it in to the wall but dont connect the cable wires,,if its ok plug in the cable wires if it reboots itself again,,,then you probably have a problem with your LNB's or Diseqc switch ,,if installed

Check your connections from your Ant to your STB. Make sure they are snug. A loose connection will cause a interuption in signal and cause the STB to freeze. Also make sure your cable has not been bent real bad. A hard bend on the cable will cause the inner core to break, this will cause a bad connection...Also feel your input connection on your STB, where you hook up sat in cable. If the connection that your coax screws onto will move, you could have broke the solder loose on the ant input connection. This will happen if you over tighten the coax...

Yes it rebooted with the 148 and i thought the 149 was supposed to fix the problem...I have unplugged the receiver a few times and it still does it..My LNB is fine becaue my 6000 model works ok in the 2 rooms also.

Try flashing the factory bin three times and then load the 149 bin. Let us know. I've never seen this problem before...
