Need to view channels from the west with viewsat ultra 2000
Hi all!!!. I am a noob at this, and i surely hope somebody here can help me out.. MY problem is, i would like to view most channels from the west with my new viewsat ultra 2000. I like to view, mtv, bet, vh1, tbs, etc.. From the west.. Most of the channels i got, view only channels from the east, which is the new york time zone.. I live in california, and i would like to watch channels that are played in my time zone which is the west.. Channels like tbs, usa network, and mtv.. play channels from the east, which play 3 hours before california starts playing them.. Plzz help me by setting most of my channels from the west.. Thanks in advance.

Go into your system settings, go to time settings, change the time offset to reflect your area. Florida is -5.00, and california is three hours behind EST, so i'm not sure if yours would be -8.00 or -2.00, play with it till your guide reflects what is on the TV at the same time...

Re: Need to view channels from the west with viewsat ultra 2000
calif is -8 GMT
also, some stations like TNT or A&E dont seem to have a west coast feed, they just play the 9 pm programs over again at 12pm est. network programs can be found on the network affiliates on the channels above 600.
cheers
