Question about Setup with DP34

Okay, I've searched all over these forums and have managed to get my fta receiver up and running. I can't tell you how grateful I am to everyone for all of the advice given here. But I still have a question as to whether or not this setup will work I'm wanting to try.

What I currently have is a DN Super going to a DP34 and 3 subs. I have added an FTA to the DP34 and can receive off 105, 110 and 119. What I want to do now is add a second dish to receive off of 91.

Can I run the second dish into the DP34 in place of the 105 since DN is not using 105 anymore?

Do I have to use a DP LNB or can I use any LNB if running into the DP34?

Is it possible to use a Dish 500 to receive off of 82 and 91? This one dish will receive off of 110 and 119 is why I ask.

I would like to keep the DP34 since it's already in place and I'm going to keep at least 1 sub.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Re: Question about Setup with DP34

Just add another LNB or use the 105 LNB just move it over ,,,you should be able to pick up 91 or add a sw21 between the Dish pro LNB and DP34 for a total of 81.92.105.110.119

Wow, Good suggestion PEP. Llots of LNB, just emagine if you have 1 dish per lnb, your backyard probably will look like mushroom farm. LOL Good Luck!!

Re: Question about Setup with DP34

Thanks jfabula2. That answers my question. I have a Dish500 and I'll point it to 82 and 91. I'll add the SW21 before tying into the DP34. With only 3 inputs in the DP34, that will still allow me to pick up from 82, 91, 110 and 119, correct?

Is the LNB for the 105 the same as the ones for 110 and 119? Would it work for 82 or 91? Just curious, because I thought the LNB for 105 was different.

Re: Question about Setup with DP34

i have a superdish 105 and have thought about this as well. You cannot use the lnb thats at 105 to pickup 91 as the 105 lnb is linear and will not pickup the circular signal on 91. Just add an lnb or another dish and put it into the dp34 inplace of the 105

Re: Question about Setup with DP34

If your LNB has a built in DP34switch and the 105 LNB can be removed, then just remove it and plug in a circular LNB in its place
