84 Level But No Quality

I MOVED MY DISH TO A NEW HOUSE AND HAVE IT IN A RELETIVLEY CLOSE POINTING DIRECTION. BUT NOW I HAVE 84-85 LEVEL BUT NO QUALITY, IVE MOVED IT EVERY WHICH WAY POSSIBLE. ITS A COOLSAT 7000 REC. DISH 500 DUAL LNB. AND IT WAS FOR 110 119

you only have to move it to one spot,,and that is the correct Azimuth,elevation and skew for your particular area or zip code,,,,,,If your in the USA,, post your zip code and i will get you those settings ,,,,,anywere else post your coordinates...

if your pointed at the wrong bird you will get signal but no quality.
make sure you have the proper port / lnb settings in your antenna setup. if they are reversed you cal also get signal but no quality. with the dish 500, make sure that 119 is on port 1.

I Dont Really Know What My Setting Are Suppose To Be. It Is An Older System But I Bought A New Coolsat 7000pvr

Use these settings Azimuth 164 ,Elevation 50,,,Skew 88,,,,Using a sat finder A cheap $10 one will work fine..Connect it to LNB and REceiver ..set it to 3/4 clockwise rotation ..you dont need a diseqc switch,,set your STB to LNB type dish pro,,,,,cover your LNB that has marking 110 on it,,then set your receiver to sat 119 ..turn on 22k tone,Find signal ,,,then decrease sat finder knob to were you could barely hear it,,,adjust Dish elevation or Azimuth to get a stronger signal tone on sat finder,,,,,,Do not touch skew,,this setting is for your Zip code and should not be moved...When achieved the best possible signal strenght ,,,Uncover LNB 110 ,,,and you should be aligned with SaT 119 & 110...

no luck i even hooked up the lnb seperatly one at a time and still got only 91 level but 0 quality..... why is this?????

Is there any trees that might be getting in the way,,,,,,if there is you mightg have to move the dish or you could try going after other birds like 82,91 for brawley @ azimuth 122 Elevation@40 Skew44

make sure your on an active tp for the bird your going for.if set on an inactive tp while aiming,you will never know when you hit it.if using your receiver that is.

how do you hard re-boot for coolsat 7000pvr

When flashing your stb ,,the TP gets defaulted to 12224 ,,which is active in 82,91,110,119 satellites,,,so you should be ok there.....First you have to make sure your dish is pointed in the right spot,with no interference,,second you have to make sure your LNB are still working,,,,,,if you got a old DN receiver use it to find signal strengh and quality,,use a satellite finder its a whole lot easier,,,,when you know all that is worlking ,,I recomend flashing your stb once again with the latest bin,,,,,

Scar ; The level tell's you that the coax from your box to the dish is ok ,quality shows that you are on the sat. ,, check the back panel on the cs7 k,, coax from dish is LNB IN ,also ,check menu ,,dish setting's,,when i do a reset ,the 119 ,go's to a single lnb ,,let us know ?
