Which ViewSat for a newbie?

Hi guys,

I've read the reviews and was wondering which ViewSat unit I should go with for my first. My friends have the Extreme but I thought about getting the Ultra. Huge difference? I really like the USB port instead of hauling unit to the PC for each upgrade. An extreme Newbie here but I read a lot and have already picked up a lot from everyone's posts. Using a Dish Pro 500 on DN. A friend loaned me his Extreme to try out and I even downloaded Loader2 and the freeze fix which worked great, so I'm somewhat familiar with the Extreme and was hoping the Ultra isn't a huge difference.

I would definitely go with the ultra if you want to stick with viewsat...

By the way the extreme has been discontinued....support will continue...but why go with the older models...

Makes sense to me. The Extreme seemed easy to install and wanted to make sure the Ultra wasn't rocket science.
