Yes!! there will be a fix, you...just...have....to....wait for maybe another day or two. This is the millionth time this problem has happened. The coders always comes on top. So wait, and beside I believe you need to be a paid member of this site to be able to download file anyways. But the files will be here soon.

Okay, thanks man. I did do some research on it before I bought it, didn't see anything like "tracing" even though it made a lot of sense. I guess I'll just wait and see then. Thanks again.

They can only trace you IF you leave it connected to the net ALL the time.
If you only connect long enough to update the unit...you will be safe.
Or if you still are not comfortable with the concept of Big Brother watching you update...then you can still update your receiver the normal way by flashing it with a new bin from your PC...or memory stick.
This unit is relatively new on the scene, so only time will tell if the coders working for nFusion will be any better than others or not.
We need testers for this unit to find out...so get one man.

Perfect...thanks again...I'll love to be a tester for this unit. As soon as I get it I'll let you guys know...this is off the topic, but what is the difference between "donating" to this site and buying a subscription?

Re: nfusion?
Just checked and Nfusion is without PPV, Adult and movie channels again. We have never lost the balance of programing. It was up when we went to bed last night. They will get it, tough nut to crack this time.
I do not leave my Nfusions connected. Only connect for the upgrades. Nearly automatic. You bring up the menu, go to internet, click, go to check for upgrades, click and it will tell you if there is an upgrade, if there is you click and that is it. Then disconnect the IKS.

A sub will get you in for bins...full access to the site.
A donation is like...when you were a little boy and your Grandmother gave you $5.00 every year in your birthday card...you liked her more.

Re: nfusion?
I am thinking about buying and testing on the Nfusion Nova and was wondering is the wireless router required for the system to work ?

No you do not need to use wireless router if you chose not to, but then you'll have to load the new bins old fashion way. If you do have wireless router, you can load the bin directly from the net without moving your box or using usb key. You can connect straight with your box to the wireless network in your house and download the latest bin...So the wireless router is optional. I just purchased this unit as well, and I should be getting it by monday.

Re: nfusion?
I have an NFusion Nova and it's up for about 2 minutes now then blanks out.
IKS works great, but this is a bin issue. Charlie is hitting us hard and even updating through the receiver, which is sweet btw, still requires a direct connection to your router, not wireless. Wireless is for pvr.
Even though we can update the bin easier than any other receiver, it's no fun watching sat when you're down every 2 minutes. Also you'd better have a high speed connection because the download is almost 1G and takes a few minutes to transfer and flash the rom.
NFusion support has been great so far and their current fix works through the receiver but it's only temporary.
It's the best receiver out for ease-of-use, but we'll need a big fix for this new ecm. Hopefully NFusion will step up to the plate soon.
