Re: your dream sat package
As for me i`m very happy with a dish 500 with twin lnb`s that gets 119 and 110, one other dish (single lnb)for 91.
Still nothing on, NOT !!!

You will need a fairly big dish to get 123, and a different lnb but it can be done. I'd start with seing what size dish you will need for 123 and then go from there. Look in FTA utilities and you will see a link for a lyngsat type site which will give you a footprint map telling you what size dish you will need to get 123.

Re: your dream sat package
Here is the ideal setup for you (and best of all, no dish motor required) but you may have to forego Galaxy.
The best set up if you want to be able to pull down the most variety with the least amount of effort (and without need of a dish motor) is the following, get yourself:
1 - 18" x 24" Eliptical Dish
4 - Dual LNB's
1 - 5 port LNB Mount/Yoke
1 - Disc Switch (4 in /1 Out)
Some Sat Cable and some connectors.
Arrange and mount the LNB's on the pre-engineered 5 point Yoke, so that the 101W LNB area is not populated (i.e., is empty) then mount the 4 LNB's, in their respective places. You'll be able to scan 91W, 82W, 110W and 119W without having to move the dish at all (no motor).
Once you lock onto 91W the others are automatically 99% there.
Hope that helps.

Re: your dream sat package
The set up outlined above, is not all that expensive, I saw an 18" x 24" (eliptical) Dish with the 5 mount/LNB yoke and 4 dual LNB's offerrd (new)for $120.00 the other day.
Now your talking

Re: your dream sat package
Yup, just make sure you get the 5 mount LNB Yoke, it'll make you life easier moving forward. Forget populating 101W.
Each of the LNB positions are indicated, so it's really hard to miss with this set up ... these (as shown) are about $24.00 but worth every cent.

Man, that is great information. I thought for sure if you wanted 119,110 and 91 it needed 2 dishes.

this is exactly what I have. It's the best possible setup, to get dn/bev on one dish. But instead of the $25 - 5 LNB holder, I used a $5 - 4 LNB holder and attached the extra LNB using some duct tape and wire and I got an extra LNB with the left over money.
I also have a 39inch dish with 1 liner lnb for the other FTA birds as a backup if all is down. (currently on Galaxy 10 @ 123W) but I move this one often, depending on what I want to get.

Re: your dream sat package
I'm not sure, I use standard Dual LNB's, one per SAT.

Re: your dream sat package
Personally I'd go with the Wave Frontier T-55 setup I have. I get 82, 91, 110, 119 all on one dish, and each LNB gets equal signal levels. With elliptical dishes only the centre lnb gets an ideal signal and the others to the side will suffer some loss of signal. If you're in the sweetspot for those birds then it probably wouldn't matter much, but every little bit helps in bad weather.
