Quick question for the mods.

hi guys,i was just wondering if you could clear something up for me.i bought a coolsat 6000 a while back and am currently using bev.my question is when i do the blind scan for my channels should i scan both nimiq 1 and nimiq 2 or do they both have all the same channels.the reason i ask is because i've noticed that i have 2 of every channel.should i just be scanning for nimiq 2?thanks for your help.

what sat are you pointed at nimiq 1.3 91w or nimiq 2 (82w)? 91 is the better of the two sats.
when you scan more than once you will get double channels.
its best to delete everything scan once from the right bird and thats it.

you shold scan both, but I will there to say that you have an antena problems,it hapen to me long time ago, I had to adjust the antena right it wass the tube that holds the antena wasn't level and I wass crossing signals with the other sat in other worlds you just geting one sat and a shadow of the other one, try that maybe that's your problem too,let us know if you fix it so we all can learn, thanks.

if you are viewing 82 and 91 use your auto scan so you don't get duplicates

Do you receive a signal for both 82 and 91, if so you can scan both...but use a auto scan or normal scan...Blind is not always the best option. If you only receive the one signal, just scan that sat. Make sure you delete the previous channels when doing this, otherwise you will end up with triple channels.
