Second dish, what to do?
I am currently using a dish500 with a DP plus LNB, pinted at 110w/119w, and a pansat 2700a(real). I have a second dish, with a DP single LNB. I'm not sure where it's pointed, the Dish guy said it was for the HD channels because the "HD" sat wasn't a strong enough signal because of a tree, so he put this second dish up which you can plainly see is pointed in a different direction. anyways, the second dish is not connected anymore, I disconnected it from the Dish500 when I first setup my Panny.
Now I would like suggestions on what to do with this dish, and If I just need to reconnect it to the fourth F-type on the Dish500 LNB like it was Originally or connect it through a switch.
I hope this makes sense, thanks.

Re: Second dish, what to do?
you could point it at nimic 1 (91) the canadian provider and hook all 3 lnb's up to a switch.

Re: Second dish, what to do?
If your going to setup a second dish, nimiq 1 91w is a great bird to go with. Almost exactly like DN but canadian...lol . The diseqc switches that come with the receivers are not the greatest. You might want to run out and get a better quality switch to prevent changing it from time to time.

Re: Second dish, what to do?
So I can't connect the second dish pointed at nimic 1 to the fourth connector on the main dish, I need to run both dishes through an external switch?
