Re: how to get better quality
I am assuming it is goos RG6 cable it is a brand new house.
I am using the viewsat pro, dual LNB, 18X23" eliptical (not sure on measurments)
my signal is about 83% quality 60%
i do know that all my cable from upstairs from 4 differnt rooms run into some kinda switch (in the basement) that is connected to one cable the runs directy to my dish

Re: how to get better quality
not sure if this is related to the quality problem but i only get 230 channels. should i try and run a cable straight from my dish to the receiver ? to bypass this switch? also the switch is plugged into and electrical outlet

Re: how to get better quality
yes the cable should be a straight run from the LNB to the reciever, no breaks or splitters....you should have 400+ channels on 91

Re: how to get better quality
you should run one cable from each lnb to a diseqc switch, then one cable to your receiver. you may need to tweak the alignment on your dish to get a little better quality. if you have more problems post your settings.
