Null Modem Cable

Ok all i have an interesting question only because it just happened to me! I just purchased a VS PRO and upon setting it up i noticed that unfortunately all my desktops and notebooks DO NOT have a SERIAL port on them !!!! So what is one to do in a situation like this??? I got around it because my wifes nootbook had the port thankfully! But what if you dont because i remember reading somewhere around here that the first update had to be through the null modem cable then you could use the USB from there on after.

You can buy a adapter(usb-serial) from electronic store,radio shack.

Its allways good to have serial cable,cause it sames to be only way to sort your box out if it goes bizzerk,as they sometimes do.Good luck.

glad u have options with d Notebook n since u wish 2 hav another cable here r some links sponsored by the site that u can order from..I will go with d folks that specialize in this stuff for the reliability sake..?
BTW there have been posts that reported their experience after getting one from the retailer mentioned in d preceeding post...but that's ur choice to make..
