rescaning
I started testing 110 119 129 & 91 around 1 month ago, and I was wanting to know if I need to rescan the sats every once in a awhile for the new channels and or the channel moves? I have my auto tp update on.

Re: rescaning
Not really, i just rescan because i mess around with them and something fails. Other then maybe you change a setting or you killed the box and had to factory load and then load everything else back, only real time you have too. Just pay attention to the forums, any added channels will be announced.

Re: rescaning
Probably a good idea, maybe not as often as once a month. Many people lost ch 455 because they moved it to another tp. Some units found it others didn't.

Re: rescaning
If I do rescan do I use scan sat, scan tp, scan all or blind scan. I have a sv-8000.

Re: rescaning
If you do scan just do auto on each sat. But like SoDark mentioned sometimes you can loose channels. Make sure it's a good clear day.

for the sats you are getting, you should use the "scan sat" feature....that is basically the equivalent to an auto scan
