Pointing a Direct Tv dish to echostar 7 (119), Tips needed!

Any tips for me to point the DTV currently pointing to direct tv satellite and move it to echo star? dont have sat finde ri will do it manually

sites like dishpointer.com will help you aim it. just be aware that point is pretty precise so small movements make a difference. you should get a good compass, this will help quite a bit.

You must have a compass and goto ftapoint.com click on dish pointer follow that setup then whatever receiver you're using then goto menu and dish settings if you know your settings then input them and do auto scan for sats 110 & 119.

that is all good but change you tp freq to 12239 or you will not get a quality

If you look at the post you would have seen that it was for the two sats 110 & 119 also if you looked closer you would see tp for 119 is 12239 .
