Newbie question about LBN's
Every post I have seen here talks about dual lbn's. Will the single LBN not work?I have Pansat 2700a that I am trying to get working and am having problems.I am just making sure that the LBN is not the problem. Thanks for any advice

Re: Newbie question about LBN's
Mst of the new lnb's is all dual outputs where you can run 2 receivers from a single dish.
the lnb with only one output will do the work too with 1 receiver.

Re: Newbie question about LBN's
There are many types of LNB's. Single LNB's can pick up one sat, but with quad outputs, you can hook twp STB's up. The DP that a lot of members use have two eyes and can get two sats. If it is quad, you can hook up two STB's with each STB getting two sats. Just remember that single LNB's get one sat and dual LNB's get two sats. The newer Dish 1000.2 sat can get three sats. Hope this doesn't confuse you any...

Re: Newbie question about LBN's
I have a question. Hope to keep this short. I had 2 stb hooked to my dp500. I added another sat. A dish 500 with dual quad lnb (I think this is correct...119 and 110 side) So the 2nd dish I pointed at bev 91 and 82. I was told to hook both sats together with a 4x1 diesecq switch. This means I feed only 1 stb but get dish and bev. Now I am having trouble getting some channels in. 110 side of dish..is this the incorrect way to combine dish and bev..is there a better way?
