Help Please
I just bought a used coolsat 6000,a brand new dish 500 sat w/ brand new legacy quad LNB,and hooked it all up.Wat do I do now,or where do I go from here?Thanks for any help,please!

hate to give you bad news but the coolsat 6000 was a bad buy
the support for that stb is dead i would suggest step up to sonicview or viewsat or captiveworks
captiveworks is in my opinion the easiest to set up and very economical
|

First Update your account to VIP. I am unsure about your receiver but here is a few setting that should help you out. Depending on your switch and what sats your are pointing at.
Satellite: 7
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: OCS-DP
LNB Freq: 11250
22KHz: ON or OFF
TP Freq:12224
Diseqc 1.0: Port 1
Motor: OFF
Legacy SW: NONE
Satellite: 8
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: OCS-DP
LNB Freq: 11250
22KHz: ON or OFF
TP Freq:12224
Diseqc 1.0: Port 2
Motor: OFF
Legacy SW: NONE
and/or
Satellite: 1
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: OCS-DP
LNB Freq: 11250
22KHz: ON or OFF
TP Freq:12224
Diseqc 1.0: Port 1 if additional sat port 3
Motor: OFF
Legacy SW: NONE
Satellite: 2
LNB Power: ON or OFF
