is there a way i can get both satalite and regular cable on on tv set without running a second coax cable in the wall. someone told ne that i could used a deplixer to send the two signals thru one cable then split the signal again with another deplixer. i would appreciate any help on this matter...

Re: a little help please
yes you have the right idea it can be done but i cant remember the name of the splitters needed.....
basically you put one splitter at your TV with two cables running into it from your TV (one for sat, one for cable) then you can run one single RG6 from there to another point down the line and then split it into two wires again

Re: a little help please
Why can't you use an A-B switch. Put cable on one side and sat on the other and connect to cable connection on tv. Rad Shack makes a remote controlled switch you can change from the sofa.
