Searching signal for 5 sec before channel

Hey guys I have a superdish 121 that gets 110 and 119. I have about 800 channels total and when I turn to a channel it says searching signal for about 5-7 seconds and then shows the channel with 91% quality. Why is it doing this. Is this aiming problem or receiver? I have a vs2000 platinum.

I think its the bin, leave your stb on all the time and just turn the tv off this may help, I saw this happen on my viewsat too.

you may also want to check cable connections and that the dish is properly grounded. almost sounds like a switching problem.

I think its the bin file, it should be fixed with the next release.

Thanks guy for your help. But the problem was the cable coming into the house. I changed it to RG6 and now no more searching signal and am getting 3-5% better signal. Thanks guys.
