Where are my channals
Sorry to ask a studid question, but I've been out of town for a little while. I'm missing lots of stations. USA, HBO Comedy, some Adult channals, etc. Did they change sats? What do I need to do in order to get them back? I'm getting a headache looking through months of posts. I have a Viewsat VS2000. Everything else is great. Just missing some channals. Thanks in advance to all the mods and helpers. Without you guys, I would be lost. Thanks

Re: Where are my channals
Yes. The channel number is there but no picture. Both sats are being picked cause in setup I get both in the upper right corner. My buddy told me they might of went to another sat.

Re: Where are my channals
OK buddy.. Just do a Factory default and then setup your antenna setting and save. Then do auto scan. BTW that channels is still in 110 & 119.

Re: Where are my channals
Do I need to delete or add any TP Freq's? Is that what changed? Why did they disappear? I did a channel scan and didn't get them back. I'm always scared to do a default cause one time I was screwed for a week. Hence I have more than one channel of the same thing. Thanks in advance for your help

Re: Where are my channals
Buddy i know you other channels are working like channel 200 CNN. And i experience this before. So to resolve my problem i do a factory default then auto scan..Yes in doing the factory default will erase the channels...

Re: Where are my channals
I've got PPV's, most of the movie channels, 5 adults, all the out of town locals, plus more. I just miss the ones I can't view right now. Funny. I'm never content with what I have. I always want more. So you're saying do a default, scan both sats, then everything will be OK? Do I need to make any changes with the TPF's or any other settings. This will be the 2nd Factory default I've done in 3 years.

Re: Where are my channals
dn was been moving a lot of stuff around lately. my brother had a few "dropped" channels a little while back. a factory default and a fresh scan will get your channels back.

Re: Where are my channals
So don't I shouldn't change a thing? Just reset, re-enter all my numbers in settings, and scan? Thanks in advance. By the way, I'm also in Ohio. Southwestern part.

Re: Where are my channals
91 is a great sat. Called Nimiq 1,3. Lots of PPV/Specialty channels similar to DN and way better Adult Channels, if you like Adult content.

Re: Where are my channals
I can just use a single lnb and a switch? Use port 3 and I'm rightous? What's up with using my existing dish500 dish to also pull in 118.7? Can that be done with one dual lnb because they are so close together. Thanks again for all the knowledge tonight.
