Re: lnb install
No forget the bracket .... use a muffler clamp or some extra long and strong tie straps like so:
Luckily an LNB is about 9 degrees in width (perfect for this app).

Re: lnb install
My buddy's set up uses the above LNB arrangement (although we used tie straps) it's been working for a while (rain, snow, sun etc ...) no issues.

Re: lnb install
Your ariza dish is an eliptical one correct? (i.e., curved) measures about 18 x 24"?

Re: lnb install
alrigght guys, HUGE problem here. i desperately need some help. okay, so the dish that is pointed at 61.5 W, which is a bell express view, i took off the lnb to just try out a ocuple of things. didn't touch the dish whatsoever! now when i hook back on the lnb, with the Y Yoke and everything... on my receiver it just says "searching signal.." and i get 14% strength and 0 quality. i didn't even touch the dish!! still i made like mm adjustments and no change in signal whatsoever... please guys i really wanna get this running, my family is going crazy lol

Re: lnb install
adding the Y yoke to a dish and moving the lnb that is already set throws off the aim of the lnb since it is in a different position

Re: lnb install
i don't think its fried though. because my other sat pointed to 110 is also hooked onto the 4X1 diseqc switch and works flawlessly. with signal strengths of 85+ ....so what still could be the reason for no signal on 61.5?
