Help!!!!! need some help!!!!!
I have direct tv and want to hook up a sonicview 4000 to the existing satellite dish that they installed. Will this work? If not, what do i need to do to make it work. all help is greatly appreciated!!!! I enjoy FTA at work and want to install it in my house!!!!

fta receivers will not pick up dtv
easiest suggestion is get you a dish500 with either a dishpro or dishproplus twin lnb and point at 110/119

Follow bigevil's advice .... you'll want to forget DAVE TV and focus on 110 and 119.

I belive the dish is pointed at echo star 7 119, does this sound right for dave tv?

119 is Charlie, that's where you thought your dish was pointed - you'll be good with that.

Im sorry if this is a repost my computer is acting up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
does d.tv use the same satellite as charlie??? because I watched him aim the satellite at what i thought was echo star 7 119.

No, but there are 2 satellites at 119W:
EchoStar 7 - Dish Network
and
DirecTV 7S
