I'm at a crossroads....... - ABA DSS

I can't figure out what I want to do. I haven't bought a reciever yet, I was looking to buy a HD reciever but given the cost I thought I'd wait till I had more blow money to put on it. So, I was thinking of getting a regular reciever while I saved so I can start to enjoy the hobby. But, with N3 coming soon I'm afraid to do anything. If I read right somewhere else on here(I wish I could remember where) the HD reciever would have a better chance at handling N3 than a regular reciever.
So what, in your opinions, be the best thing to do? For a regular reciever I was thinking of a 360 elite......HD I wasn't to sure yet.
Any suggestions would be great. THANKS!!

i would get a viewsat ultra . best bang for your buck & very reliable support wise.
if your worried bout nagra 3 coming. nfusion nova is a nice little box . bev is up with that unit as well as dn.

If money is tight, try out a captive works model, The captive works 800 pvr is a great box and the features at the low price are just as great. If you like what you see, once the upcoming n3 change takes place, you can upgrade and it will not be that difficult.

I would suggest an CNX Mini,if you can find one yet (I read that it has been discontinued), or the Nano that replaces it. Maybe a Duo, for little more.

The cnx brand is also a great product line...cnx mini is my personal favorite.

no that is not true at all......

unless you are buying an HD reciever to view true FTA sats then your best to wait until nag 3 is solved.....or i should say if it is ever solved.....
