Did I miss anything ?
OK - I setup my motorized HG2100 with Invacom quad LNB, nfusion SD unit. I leveled the mount and used an inclinometer. The mount is set perfect in every direction on the inclinometer. I put it on TOP of the mast and measured in a circle (basically every direction) and its at 0 degress. I set my disk SOUTH based on the SUN and my latitude (as suggested by another person here). I used a compass to and used the dishpointer TRUE south adjustment. I can get 82, 91, 110 and 119 locked but only with DISEQC 1.2 and manually setting the position. I tried xxALS and it does not work. I tried to lock 123W Galaxy10R (which is the one I have really been trying to lock all along for true FTA). No dice. I set to universal and picked PORT2 (circular LNB) and evern used manual moto movement. signal and quality for the other 4 birds are all 70/85 range. I tried the idea of locking 82W and tweaking that to the max. But xxALS still did no lock. I rechecked my LNB alignment at zero degrees (for motor). I did notice that moving it back (as far away from the dish as possible) helped a but in signal strength. I think my alignment must still be off a tad ? What do you guys think ? Would a good quality compass be the better way to go ? Any suggestions ?

You'll need one of these or similar.

Re: Did I miss anything ?
I've got the Invacom QPH-031 quad LNB it has 2 circular and 2 linear ports. I am using only two of the ports to a switch. So I think I have that covered. Does the problem I describe sound like it is simply not in the clarke belt exactly ? I keep thinking that my true south is off and that is throwing the whole motor alignment off. Thanks for the replies so far!

Re: Did I miss anything ?
If your true south is off, that will cause you some issues for sure ... I'd start there.

Re: Did I miss anything ?
Yes, I have one of each. Port 1 and 2 are Circular and Linear (respectively). I will quadruple check my true south. It seems like
my issue is the pointing. But I was surprised that I could get 82W,91W,110W and 119W! (thats a pretty good span of degrees) but not 123W. I've heard others have trouble with 123W and usually it is alignment. Thanks for all the feedback. I will continue to plug away.
