Motorized dish
I am trying to figure this out. I am now able to find two satellites, at 100% quality. Echostar 7 (110) and Nimiq (91.3). I cannot get any other birds at all. Can anyone please help

Re: Motorized dish
Did you follow the instructions I posted in the other thread about aiming your motorized dish?

Re: Motorized dish
Try locating 82W(Nimiq 2) and set that position, that should get you on track

Re: Motorized dish
dont give up so fast, you havnt been at this very long and your still obviously learning.....
getting two at high quality is a very good sign.....when searching for other sats are you SURE you are selecting an active, strong TP ???????
if your not selecting an active TP then you will get NO QUALITY......even if you are AIMED CORRECTLY !!!!!!
as an example.....when looking for 119W you should be selecting TP 12239 instead of the usual 12224.......when searching for 129W you should be selecting TP 12282.....

Re: Motorized dish
hey thanks bill of oz!. I never knew that you had to check for an active TP for every satellite. I only did 12249 for 119. I will keep trying. Thanks for your encouragement.
