newbie with lots of questions

ok.. here we go..

satellite is pointed right.. to 110 and 119..
i thought i loaded the newest version for my pvr7000 viewsat..
i blind and channel scanned trying to get channels.. looked on these threads and got the right settings.. on 119 i'm getting 75-80% signal and same for quality.. 110 i'm getting 0 and 0..

ok , now to my questions.. it keeps showing that i have all these channels on 119 (since i have signal) but i have no picture.. i'm only picking up pay perview guide..

i have read a few threads and am not quite sure if i uploaded my files right.. when you use the serial do you have to have it hooked up to your tv too? and why can't i use the usb loader it just isn't pulling anything up..

my neighbor has coolsat and he says when he loads his up and searches for channel it says files detected.. what am i doing wrong..

Make sure you have the latest fix uploaded.

Post your Antenna setting for better help.

You don't have to hook it up to the TV when using cable.

Format the USB with FAT32 first and try again.

If you have scanned and channels are showing good signal and quality try changing the lnb type in antenna settings.

post all antenna settings!

how do you know what com port to use? and should the first time you load it take a long time for the dashes to go around.. cause it did it like 30 min and never stopped so i turned it off and its still not working..
