Hello, I am having trouble loading files to vs pvr 7000 via usb to serial port. The usb/serial port is working i just keep getting a message "resending" the progress bar never moves. i am useing loader version 1.1.

Any suggestions, thanking in advance.

I have had no luck with serial to usb. If you can use null cable straight through, you should have got one with the receiver.

i don't have rs232 on my laptop. i have used it b4 4 a coolsat with no problems any ideals

yes i have that file, the null cable uses usb 2 rs232?? Also, can i program the pvr without a hardrive installed???

I just signed up for vip membership, nnow how can i set up my coolsat receiver, would i start with bin 178 and wheret to locate it

I am having the same problem. I have had my pvr for a year now with no problems. I use the PVR Loader with auto com port detector. When I try to load the last fix it states ERROR UPLOAD. I have tried different sites, different computers, from laptop to my husbands desktop. Tried several different fixes. Up and till now my downloads went very smoothly. I have the usb to serial port. Can someone please help me. Thanks.

The usb to serial may need a driver to be installed. it should be on the disk that came with it.
