Please help setup Pansat 250sm
I am a newbie at this and we keep getting stuck on one satellite which is 110 and cant get it to unlock and find other satellites?We dont even know what lnbs are and what our settings on right hand side on menu need to be at.Help Please.I guess we have everything set right.

do you have your ports selected to match other lnbs to reciever?what sats are you pointing at and what dish you are useing? the more we no about your set up the easier it is to help.welcome to ABA.

directv dish it says triple feed multisatellite lnb built in multiswitch with 4 outputs phase 3 18" x 20" dish.dont know what ports are and how do i match to other lnbs?we cant get it to quit getting locked on 110 satellite trying to find 119 satellite but cant find anyother satellites because it keeps saying we are locked on 110.we were stuck on 77 one time but got it unstuck but cant remember what we done to get it to unlock.

You will need to realign the dish, it sounds like the dish is pointing at 110.

It only seems to pick up 110 we move off of 110 but still says locked on 110.We moved but it finds 110 again and says locked.How do you unlock?

It's locked on 110 because that is the only sat it see's. Try going down a couple of degrees example from 40 to 38 and then move the dish to the right if you stand behind it.

How will I know when I pick up 119 because everytime I get a signal it says 110.Do you have to do any kind of reset on the box first because thats what we were told to get it to unlock off of 110?Sorry for all the questions.

Once you turn the dish far enough it will loose 110, and then watch for it to become 119.

You might need to go 4 degrees, try 2 first and then make slow movements and if you don't get anything then try 4 degrees.

brother in law just gave us a multisatellite it has seperate lnbs for different satellites would that be any better?

It might not be any better dtv dish's are iffy. The lnb's might have a sticker or something on them.

We just left the first dish we had up.we are currently locked on echo 8.10/kuw (110west).I see there is dirtv-5/ku at 110 also how do I switch between the two?I scanned the channels for the dirtv one it pulled up over 300 channels but none work.Can anyone help?Also what should these be on TP,LNB power,LnB type,Lnb local freq,22k,diseqc,legacy sw,positioner setting,satellite scan?
