STB Spec Comparisons
I'm wondering how the processing power, memory and overall hardware profile compare between IKS and BIN loaded boxes.
if i had to pick 2 to compare it would be the sv.360 and the Nfusion solaris.
i can't seem to find any specs for any of the IKS boxes.

Re: STB Spec Comparisons
I'd look at the nFusion Phoenix unit ... nice all round feature set ... far better than the Nova or Solaris models and offers more memory, better tuner, more LNB output power ect.
That would be my pick in the nFusion SD line of recievers.

Re: STB Spec Comparisons
I'm just compiling some info for a friend, I have no intentions of ever running an IKS system. i'm more interested in the hardware differences between the 2.
it's more about how much power is required to perform the different functions of the 2.
i beleive his intentions are to hack a box open and mirror the firmware and whatever else onto a few different machines, and he wanted to know how old/cheap of a machine would work. Apparently any of my old p1's will be perfect.
