dumpster score ! - ABA DSS

incase any of you in vegas saw a pair of feet dangling out of a huge dumpster yesterday ! it was me ...

i scored what appears to be 30 inch or more high gain dish ( certainly twice the size of the d/n 500 i have )

and brand new unopened dp 3 lnb eitherway it states 110/119/129

the dish has a single lnb attached also ...

after missing the 61.5 sat - ufc fight channel saturday, hopefully i will be able to get the new dish aimed that way for the next round.

currently this tops my $6 score for my orginl fta pansat 2500 which is out of use now....

man i love free stuff !

should i swap out the twin lnb thats currently hooked up to the d/n dish aimed at 110/119...and try to add 129 with the 3 lnb.

and just keep the new dish with the single lnb aimed for lets say 61.5 ??

is it simple to add the 3 lnb ?

Man, what a find. I know I have been on the look for free dishes. But that seems to top all my free finds so far.

what model is the triple LNB? triples they can be tricky; if you feel adventurous you could mess with the triple, but I like your option of just keepnig the new dish with the single LNB aimed for 61.5; that's the standard HD setup Charlie deploys;

Just use the single eye and aim it to 61.5. The tripple LNB, prob dish 1000.2 is very difficult to aim, not impossible, but difficult...

that's a heck of a bargain!
yah, the 3 lnb is super tricky to aim. it's fun to try tho, regardless. you'll wanna aim for 119 first, then skew to hit 110 and 129. but i mean, you have to be DEAD ON with 119 to get an awesome 110/129 skew. if you have some free time, give it a shot

thanks guys for all your replies...yes it was the 1000.2 lnb

luckily it was mostly builders rubble in he dumpster...however it would have made no difference , i wouldve been in there regardless !

awesome find though....and i think the single lnb will for now just aim at 61.5...

just lacking the bracket to attach to the wood trim on the house ...home depot maybe for a simple solution.....?
