THESE SWITHCES WILL NOT WORK WITH DISH PRO AND DISH PRO PLUS LNBS!


Note: This only works with one orbital location.


This Multiswitch has an Active or Amplified circuit for your local TV, and it gets its power from the receiver. No power supply is needed. In short, the Multiswitch will allow you to have 4 different receivers on at the same time. Each receiver is independent of each other and each receiver can watch any channel at any time.


This Switch allows you to connect up to 4 receivers to one Satellite Location and a Terrestrial Antenna(ie Rabbit ears). Using Direct(DTV) Single, Legacy, and Generic LNBs.


You will need both leads form the LNB for each Satellite.


Step 1: Connect both lines from Satellite 1 LNB (ie 119/91) to Satellite Port A, 18V and one to 12V.


Step 2: Connect your line from your Off Air Antenna to Ant In.


Step 3: Connect your RJ6 Cable from your receiver to Port 1,2,3, or 4. Make sure that all connections are tight.


Step 4: Install a Diplexer to the Receiver end of the RJ6 Coax cable. Connect Sat to your receiver and Ant to your TV,DTV converter box or Off Air Antenna port on your receiver.


Definition:
A diplexer is a passive device that implements frequency domain multiplexing. Two ports (e.g., L and H) are multiplexed onto a third port (e.g., S). The signals on ports L and H occupy disjoint frequency bands. Consequently, the signals on L and H can coexist on port S without interfering with each other.


Step 5: Change your receiver settings and Save. They Should look like this.


Satellite 1 (ie 61.5/91)


LNB TYPE: STANDARD
LNB FREQ: 11250
22 KHZ: OFF
LNB POWER: ON
TRANPONDER: 11239
SEARCH: ALL
NETWORK: ON
DISEQC: NONE

MOTOR: DISABLE
LEGACY: OFF


If you are using this as a add on. You will need to use a diseqc switch and your ports will change according to your setup.

Now with these settings you will be able to watch your favorite programs on four different receivers.
