LNB Bracket
This is going to sound like a dumb question, but here goes. I have a LNB bracket for my dish with a skew on the back and trying to set it up. I want to be ready for 82/91 ( when available) when a fix comes through. My question is, which side do i put each one and which one would i set up first.
anyone out there the could possible help me out with a vivid explanation or with photos, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, jbkj99

Re: LNB Bracket
If you are talking of the Y - Yoke on a Dish 500 or the metal bracket that holds two LNBs, either one is the same way. Looking at the dish from front the Right side is for 91 or 119 and the left side is for 82 or 110.
I would set up 91 or 119 first and then skew for 82.

Re: LNB Bracket
Depending upon the Y (Yoke) you have - they are often molded in such a way as to indicate which side is which.

Re: LNB Bracket
When you have it all done and have Q maxed for both sats, goto
antenna settings for 82 and 91 and see which one indicates the
lower Q value. Maybe there won' t be much difference.
Next time u have to set up the sats, use the weaker one to aim.
Use the stronger one to skew.

Re: LNB Bracket
Put 91 on the arm as the bracket will do the skewing and you will have no problem getting 82 automatically.
