Hooking up dish1000+ with dish 500
I have a dish 1000+ with 110/119/118/129 and i dish 500 for bev 81/92, i just wanted to know if it is possible to connect them together. I have a dpp44 switch and two sw21 switches. Can someone tell me what way i can combine the 3 switches so i can get all 6 of these lnbs and what antenae settins i should use.

Re: Hooking up dish1000+ with dish 500
It has been done and is not complicated. See picture attached. I recommend using Ecoda 22Khz switches instead of the SW21 switches. It has been found that the 22Khz switches have to be closer to the LNB and hence I placed them between the LNB and the DP44. In your reciever, set the 22Khz ON or OFF for the appropriate LNB and you should be good to go. For example, 129 should have disecq=3;22Khz=OFF and 119 should have disecq=3;22khz=ON. And the same for 91 - disecq=4;22Khz=OFF and 82 - disecq=4;22Khz=ON. Using this setup you can have upto 8 LNBs and drive upto 4 FTA receivers all independently watching different channels. Note that if your FTA does not have enough power, you will need to use a power inserter as shown. You only need one power inserter.

Re: Hooking up dish1000+ with dish 500
No Legacy LNBs will not work with DPP44.
The other alternative is to connect the 1000 + directly to DPP44 as follows:
119 to Port 1, 110 to Port 2, 118 to Port 3 and 129 to Port 4.
From Dish 500, connect 91 to SW21 Dish 1, and 82 to SW21 Dish 2.
Now Connect the Output from DPP44 to 22KHz switch Zero side and the SW21 to the 22KHz side and the out from the 22KHz switch to the receiver.
In the Antenna settings you will have 119 DiSeqC Port1, 110 port2, 118 Port3, 129 Port4 andf all these will have 22KHz Switch Off, 91 will be Legacy witch sw21 dish1, and 82 will have sw21dish2 and these two will have 22KHz switch ON.
This way you can run 1 receiver for all 6 sats. But you can run three more receivers with 4 sats directly from the other three outputs of the DPP44 switch.
If you are using a NFusion HD receiver then you need not use the Power inserter. If it is either the Solaris or the Phoenix then you will need to run the Power inserter at Output 1.
