Re: Dish 1000.2
those 22khz ecodas are sweet...im running the same setup as you xcept no 148 and using 2-dp34's w/power instead of a dp44...flawless as you said. i'm using the 2'nd output on the dual lnb's to run an xtra stb out on the enclosed patio.

Re: Dish 1000.2
You guys have the set up I'm looking for. I have a 1000.2 and 500 plus, looking to get 82, 91, 110, 119 and 129. I also have a dpp44 not connected yet with some 22khz switches on the way. These are the options I see
1) Do I just add the 22khz on the 500 plus before entering the port 4 on the 1000.2
2) Install dpp44 per instructions and run the 22khz on the 500 plus before entering port on dpp44?
3) the right way (please fill in for newb
Please let me know what you have tried and has worked.
Thanks

Re: Dish 1000.2
check out this thread...it has a diagram on how it is all layed out. the power inserters are plugged into port 1 of the switches, the 22khz are used to tie 2 outputs of 2 different switches together for one stb, youll need 1 for each box you have hooked up.

Re: Dish 1000.2
Sounds like a great set up JayJay....
Now I also have a dish 1000.2 (110,119,129) and want to also receive 61.5...can I use the in on the 1000.2 from another DP500 dish and still be able to switch to this new sat on my Viewsat VS9000 ?

you can definitely use the "in" on the 1000.2 dpplus lnb for 61.5. You will also be able to run up to 3 recievers without external switches. Not sure were your located but since you are testing an hd unit might as well go for 91/82.

Re: Dish 1000.2
Hi JAYJAY, What lnb will I need to get 61.5,91 and 82? I have the dp 500 dish and dp dual lnbf(the dp dual lnbf has an internal switch). Can I plug the dp dual lnbf from the dish 500 to the "IN" on the 1000.2 switch that aslo has an internal switch? I tried it and I am not getting any signal at all. I also checked all my connections. "Someone help me please"

you can run the dp dual into the dpplus lnb. In your settings it will be set on diseqc #4.
I tried it and I am not getting any signal at all.
Are you sure that the lnb is not bad? try changing off the short cable that your using from the dp dual into the dpplus.
Try setting up the dual by itself and aim it at 119/110. Lets see if you can pull a sat in. If so its obviously not the lnb
