lnb trouble
ihave a dish pro lnb with 2 ports. I thought the lnb went bad after I lost the 119 bird. I replaced the lnb with a new one and I still cannot find 119.
I checked my settings changed ports on lnb can't seem to get signal to come up in menu and scan any channels on the 119.
VS lite and dishpro lnb
is there something I am not doing
thanks

Re: lnb trouble
You need to go after 119 first then 110. You are using both ports on the LNB, Choose 119 on your antenna settings page, put in your settings for 119 and try getting 119, Echo 7 will appear on the top right of your antenna screen. Then skew for 110 if needed

You said you had 110 working, can you still get that bird. Let me be sure what dish you are using, a standard dish with dual post LNB with 1 running for 119 and the other running for 110. Does the LNB have a built in switch.

Re: lnb trouble
I guess what I am getting at is a Dual Pro LNB is made to catch one satellite for 2 receivers. So if that is what you have then you can only catch one satellite. Correct me if you think you do not have what I think you have

Re: lnb trouble
I am sure that this lnb can see both birds it has a built in switch. I have had both birds on this lnb before. All of the sudden only 110 so I change the lnb to a new one of the same type and I have tried to reset dish and I can not get 119 back not sure what else I can do. only one coax from lnb to stb

Re: lnb trouble
OK, if you are sure, then it is something else but let's try to get you going. You need to find 119 first then 110. So if you are on 110, mark your dish so you can go back there if necessary, write down your settings for 110.
Now, stand behind your dish and slowly move it to your right(west) until you lose 110 and you come up on 119. Get it as strong as you can, then check 110 and see if you have a signal there, if not try skewing(rotating) your dish slightly to get 110. Remember to choose 119 as your sat on the left and put in correct settings b4 you start looking for it. You will see Echo 7 appear on the top right of your right page when you hit the 119 signal. Scan your sats and you should get a picture
