zinwell wb68 6x8 multiswitch
i have recently purchased the zinwell wb68 and i am telling ya i love it
you can hook up 4 lnbs to it first on you can have a stand alone lnb then you can use a combiner on the second (remember you need a dual lnb for this ) the reason is you have to run 2 line to the switch on will be vert and the other horz tp freq now here i will put a install guide here for it and read it all i have the 360 hooked up both tuners a sv 8000 and a neosat ipro2000 all working flawlessly so take a look at the guide and if you have question go ahead it is easy to hook up .. and the combiners for extra lnbs are only 6 bucks .. and you can get the zinwel for about 20-30 ..
this has a built in 22khz switch so you need to make sure inyour setting for the receiver that you turn on the 22khz or you will get double channels ..
good luck

Re: zinwell wb68 6x8 multiswitch
Tomcat
Great infomation.
I'm a little lost though.
Here is my setup
One dish with dual Lnbs
82,91,110,119
I currently one line from each lnb to a swich then into each input on my 360E. No problems at all everything is fine.
Issue
do not want a dish farm. Would like to have other stb's without ading dishes. I do have a 6x8 in the basement can I use it to get all birds? on several stbs. If so could you write on a napken, scan and upload?
Thank you

Re: zinwell wb68 6x8 multiswitch
so could this set up be used to get 82,91,110,119 and in the instructions it shows only 1 wire going to to the 4th lnb with combiner. is this your set up. also by combiner do they mean diplexer? any more info would be great. thanks

Re: zinwell wb68 6x8 multiswitch
yes a combiner is a diplexer what you do is if you look at the switch you have 4 inputs 2 are 13 one 18 then the next 2 are 13 and 18 also but the have a built in 22kh so on that one you can use a dual diplexer and add 2 more lnbs for 3 lnbs on the 22kh switch side
or if you just have dish then you can run both (and they have to be dual )lnb in to 13 an 18 connectors one line on each and the run up to 8 recievers ..
if you look at the middle pic it will show you 2 lnb with a diplexer in the 22kh connectors .. crap i am getting confused

Tomcat,
I've got a WB68. Will it work to drive extra Captive Works 800s? I've got two CW600p and two CW800s currently running off of a DP Quad LNB. I want to run two more CW800s. I read that you should only run coax to the 13V inputs. Is that what you are doing? What are the STB settings? Can I use my existing setup running two feeds off a DP Quad LNB to the existing STB's and then run the other two to the 13V inputs on the WB68, or should I run all the STB's off of the WB68? I guess what I'm really asking is what is the best way to run 6 STB's off of one DP Quad LNB. Thanks.

Re: zinwell wb68 6x8 multiswitch
Hi Tomcat, I have 2 Zinwell WB6x8 and I hook up like this but it didn't work, 82, 91 go to zero side ( Beverly did not work on 22Khz at all ) 110, 119 on 22Khz then combine 2 output cable to Disecq port 1 and 2 and my 97 go to port 3 but only 82, 91 work well 110 miss few TP for few day then won't work at all, 119 won't work all the time. By the way my set up is good, I turn 22khz on for 110 and 119. Anyway it's good to hear that you get it work
