Christmas is Coming
Does anyone know which box or boxes will support N3 when the change comes for DN? We would like to up-date our boxes and support the lastest software. Have a great Holiday Season! Thanks for the help.

Re: Christmas is Coming
no offense but a question like this is just a waste of board space.....nobody knows when, or if nag3 will ever be cracked.....anything you read about a possible crack is just rumours until a file is actually released.....
it could be next week, it could be 2 weeks, it could be 2 months, it could be two years.....it could be never.....trying to predict this is like trying to pick next weeks lottery numbers

there are no channels open for the new nagravision 3 encryption method used for dn/bev besides a handful of channels via iks using the nfusion brand stb receivers at this time.
anything else for n3 is unknown at this time.

Re: Christmas is Coming
All posts are correct. Only receiver with channels open on N3 is Nfusion with slightly over 100 channels reported as of yesterday none of them PPV. It is widely felt that they are using cardsharing which explains why no PPV are open. Any report of N3 being cracked is nothing more than speculation at this time.
Unless you are planning to watch Real FTA then any recommendations for receivers are pointless until after Charlie switches to N3 and it seen whether it can be cracked. If you are interested in Real FTa which is totally legal then we can make some reccomendations for you.

Re: Christmas is Coming
Fact is, when Charlie throws the N2 switch (and this IS going to happen), we'll then see who's still delivering. The proof will be there for all to see (as long as you have the correct unit).
Being first with a solution to the forthcoming end of N2, will provide a huge influx of sales for the Unit that has correctly identified how BEST to keep delivering, not to mention the catapulting of that BRAND to LEGEND status in FTA lore.
The true 'inital window' in order to do this is very small, given that most people do not need two receivers (except for MODS, where 5+ tends to be the norm ) that's why being first out of the gate when the end of N2 arrives is so very important in this case.
Make no mistake, there is HUGE $$$ to be made. Being second, simply won't matter.
Some units have already demonstrated that they can open and close some channels at will (Sunday Ticket was a prime example) I said some, not all.
Like I've said before there is always something to watch in FTA land, even if its just the coders.
All of this IS truly fascinating!
And remember, folklore status hangs in the balance.

Re: Christmas is Coming
All of the posts thus far are correct. If i was a betting man... which i am... i would put my dollars on nfusion as they have already demonstrated some capability in the N3 area. I'm sure others will rip this post apart with techinicalites but the fact reamins who else has done it????

nfusion has not done anything more than anybody else.....they do not have ANY nag3 crack as of yet, and neither does anybody else.....if they did, you would see PPV channels up.....
they are tricking people into thinking they have a nag3 crack, when in reality all they are doing is wiring a sub through the IKS to get basic channels running.....
im not saying they will not be first when the time comes.....but as of right now, everybody is basically equal and ANYBODY could be first.....
