How to add 3rd receiver to 500 twin lnb system?
I have a Dish 500 twin lnb system with (2) 625 DVR receviers. I would like to add a 510 receiver to my current set up. Will a DPP44 work for both types of receivers as the 625 is a dual tuner and the 510 is not. I know that a DP34 will not work as I have been unsuccessful with this and wanted to confirm the DPP44 before I spend any more money. Thanks.

before you buy any switches check into a dp quad lnb this would work for your setup . four lines into the house the two outside out puts(of lnb) to the two single tuners & the center two out puts to each in put on your dual tuner

you have a dishpro plus then and yes the dpp44 will be the way for you to go run a cable from each port on the same side to ports 1 & 2 on switch then run a cable from switch to each receiver then put a dpp seperator on the 2 dual tuners

Re: How to add 3rd receiver to 500 twin lnb system?
Another option is a Dish 1000.2 with the integrated DPPLus Triple LNB for 119/110/129.
It can feed up to 3 single or dual tuner receivers.
Dual tuners require a DPP Separator behind the box.
