detailed scanning guide
detailed scanning guide
now that your wizard scanned your hardware,or you asked for help in the forums for your particular settings.you need to scan the satellites your setup and pointed at to create your channel list.this is simple as well.
first, its important to know what satellites your pointed at.you should figure this out when asking for help as well.for example the most common are dn's
echo7=119w echo 8.10=110w also common are bevs nimiq1=91w and nimiq2=82w.do not scan anything your not pointed at.be sure to ask for help if your not sure.
now with basics of scanning covered.this is where your wizard left off.
note the "antenna setup" column on the left hand side.this is where you wizard and or you make adjustments needed to match your hardware.(dish/switch/lnb)also note the name at the top of the list is the bird your setting up.press left/right here to change them, setting up each one your pointed at.you will also notice on the right hand side it will read searching...... when changing birds.when its complete in just a few seconds it will read "unlocked" or it will read the name of the bird the settings are setup for.always insure the two top names match of course before scanning.
you wouldn't want to setup echo7 in the antenna setup on the left and have it read "echo 8.10" on the right for example.
this example is correct.the satellite being setup is echo 7.the satellite recognized in these settings is also echo7.this bird is now ready for scanning.
continue this for all the birds your setup for.

scroll up onto the bird your setting up on the left in "antenna setup"
here press left/right to scroll to your next bird to setup.or a quicker way is press ok the current bird that is completed.this will bring up the selected list on the right hand side, that can be quickly scrolled up/down through.once you find your next bird in the list, press ok on it to select it.this will bring it up in the "antenna setup" screen on the left for you to make the adjustments.again once complete you will then see its name match in the right side column and that bird will be ready to scan.

the neosat ipro/pro 2k are advanced hardware units.scanning time for a bird is generally under a minute.once complete.it will list amount of tv/radio channels scanned.press save to complete.
(the settings in the pics do not reflect on how your settings will be.keep what your wizard scanned,or what you received help with in the forums.everyones hardware/settings may/will vary)
