Where did you send this 'activation' email???
Hello Admins and thank you for developing such a great website! One problem though...on July 4th, 2009 I paid ABAdss.com for a V.I.P. membership and never received the 'confirmation' email at any of my email accounts and do have the receipt: PayPal transaction ID
Total Amount: $59.99 USD paid to ABAdss on July 4, 2009 Time: 15:53:22 PDT
transaction status: completed.
Paypal did send me confirmation of this transaction that included a customer ID number, but there was no 'confirmation' link included. Would you please send me the information I need to gain access to the V.I.P. membership area because I am tearing my hair out (and my head is shaved!!!!) trying to figure out how the hell to get this ****ed iHub thingie to work. Please reply ASAP.
THANKS!!
mrtoad

Re: Where did you send this 'activation' email???
Hi Peg (nice name...same as my Mom's...you must be Irish...smile) I got big's email and still don't know how I'm supposed to get into the V.I.P. section??? I've had V.I.P status since I paid through PayPal on the 4th of July, but have never had a reason to try and get some personal help with anything until I bought two of those cute little "dongles" (actually I have a few other nicknames for the little buggers, but none are polite!!!...ha!). I have set up for the first "dongle" and my TV screen says it recognizes that everything is hooked up, but when I hit "IP Config", I get a message that says "Network Adaptor isn't Ready" with a "yes" box below it and nothing else. I loaded the latest update through the USB thumb drive and it seems to work, but when I start up the Wiz program on my computer and hit "search", it looks like it's processing, but no information is added to the program. I've got the two lights on the 'dongle' lit up and I'm using a serial (straight through) cable to connect the 'dongle' to the receiver which doesn't seem to matter in a negative way. I'm using a dedicated modem just for this setup along with a Linksys wifi router. I know that the sat dishes are OK because they haven't been messed with since the blackout and I double-checked all the dishes and cables and the disec switches on each and everything looks OK. I think that I'm just confused because it seems that every time I read something about the "correct" way to hook these little demons up, they're all different! Since I'm the cautious type, I don't want to try anything else until I hear from one of you guys who do know what you're talking about. I'm just monitoring sats 110 and 119 and am hooked up to 129 by way of one of my neighbor's sat dishes and all the signals are up in the high 70's with 100% on the Quality of the signal so I'm pretty sure that the signals are getting down to the receivers, but can't figure out why the "Wiz" loader won't work. Am I supposed to enter the IP address and Port address along with marking the correct boxes to make it work? If so, then I'm definitely doing something wrong because I've tried entering the 'www.sviksfta.com' IP and also entered the '1920' as the port and also entered what I thought was the correct IP address as: 77.93.75.89 and then hit 'search' with nothing to show except for the parts I manually entered. Can you see amongst this chickenscratch of mine where I might have missed something? I'm dazed and confused and feel like a total neub on this one (which really embarrasses me since I've been in this since we were playing with the BUD'S signals and the original "F" cards...). If you can see somewhere that I screwed up, please email me and explain it as if you were talking to a 2 year old African native who doesn't know English from whatever...hehe! Thanks! I am going to send big a copy of the PayPal receipt from the 4th of July payment. Am I supposed to be using a different password than the one I use to sign into the website?

Re: Where did you send this 'activation' email???
Hi guys (and gal...) I finally figured out that I had my head up my rectum which led to Oxygen deprovation which then led me to equate "V.I.P." with "live tech support"...hell, they aren't even spelled the same!!! I'm heading for the V.I.P. sectione ahora and hopefully I can keep myself from making a horse's *** out of myself again...soon...
Sorry for making a huge syntax error out of nothing guys...maybe I'll get my "dongles" fixed tonight despite myself...ha! hasta menudo!
