Automatic renewal is fraudulent, I signed up for 1 month that is what i want to pay for. I don't have time to figure out how to cancel.
At the bottom of the sign up it states Validity period marked [ red *] indicate that purchasing this subscription is recurring.
In the small window where you select how many months you want there is a black * . They are two different colors therefore the contract is in valid, i would like my money back for the month of august.
They don't want to give me my money back, what kind of operation are you guys running, trying to screw me out of my money.
Automatic renewal is not for the consumers benefit, but for the owners benefit to screw people out of their money.

I do not work for abadss but I am a member. They are offering a servise and trying to protect you or your computer. As for fraudulent, do you read what you sign up for? I think not! I am a member of a certin late night radio program that does the same exact thing, does this mean the 18,000,000 subscribers are being riped off? I think you should read your contracts and subscriptions much better. Dont pass blame on on others for your mistakes!!!!

What mistake would that be? They don't give me an option about automatic renewal, and no written statements about having to cancel.

i'm trying to keep this as real as possible for you. Automatically renewal is not fraud, saying something automatically renews implies that you need to cancel. It renews automatically without any further action from you. To stop the automatic process you must act. I'm sorry that you do not have time to go through this or read the instructions.
PLEASE do not lecture me on contract law, the nonsense you just spewed above only highlights your ignorance.
Further, in an e-mail you recieved three days before your subscription renewed, it clearly stated the warning, "If you have selected a recurring subscription you will be automatically billed for the renewal, else to renew this subscription you must visit http://www.abadss.com/forum/payments.php"
Everyone who orders through paypal, receives a confirmation notice which in plain english lets them know that the subscription recurs until it is canceled. I do not believe that out of the millions of subscription notices that paypal sends out, not just to this site, but to all other that use paypal for subscription based memberships, you have been singled out.
normall i am willing to work with people on this when they forget to cancel or what have you, but all this with posting all of the info in 3 seperate places on the forum, carrying on about fraud, and how everyone is out to get you, when in fact, it was your laziness and irresponsibility that caused the subscrption to renew, i am not interested in parting with policy at this point. i already sent you two seperate notices on this through the private message system. take responsability for your actions or inactions and stop blaming everyone else for your problems.
Again you were notified on three separate occasions of the automatic renewal, once on the payment page, once again in the paypal e-mail to you after you signed up, and then again three days prior to the renewal of your subscription.
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds on used or partially used subscriptions, if you would like to cancel, please do so through paypal.

First of all if you trick someone that is fraud. There is no option for recurring or non recurring subscription only how many months you want to purchase. That is misleading, to me anyhow. Further more the black *, to me looks like it is used to separate the options, there is a red *, at the bottom of the page there is no correlation since they are different colors, it should be black.
As for paypal they sent me 4 E-mails yesterday & i made two purchases i received nothing from them i check using the phone that is how i found out you charged me another 20$.
As for the E-mail you sent me, since i did not select a recurring subscription [even though there is only one option], so i was not concerned about cancellations. There is nothing stated on your sign up pages regarding cancellation.
As for posting in several posts i was not sure which post it belonged in, also the last time i sent you a private message almost two weeks ago it was ignored, that is no way run a business and neither is ripping me off.
You don't want to work it out because of my laziness & irresponsibility that caused my problems. The only problem i have is i selected one month and i should be charged for one month, If i wanted more then one month i would have signed up for 6 or 12 since it is cheaper.
I am not the only one who feels this way.

all i can say to you is grow up. the option for you is to buy a 12 month non recurring subscription through ccbill, or not buy a membership at all.

You just confirmed part of the problem that i have, that i never did have a choice, so why pretend that i did have a choice, that is the part i find misleading. I don't like feeling i am being misled. Other then a few minor issues, this is the best site out there and the people on it very helpful!
As for VIP member Odonnelld what concern is it of yours if i can or cannot access this or any other site, I am a paid member after all.

"....If i wanted more then one month i would have signed up for 6 or 12 since it is cheaper"
I think the subscription details are very simple and streightforward. The member does not seem to understand that the 1 month,6 month or 12 month options indicate that how often your subscriptin will be renewed , or in simple words what amount you want to pay at one installment.More you buy, more discount you get.
BTW ,ABAdss is the best fta site I have seen.
