Hello,
I just got a second SV4000 and tried to set it up but whenI try to enter the keys manually by going to entertainment and entering 7890 to gain access to code the unit does not respond. Any ideas?

Load the factory file...

Then load this file...

rescan the birds after you enter your sat settings...

With the current file, the autoroll is working. But when it comes neccessary to load the keys manually here is a link to a guide with pictues;

just click on the link and download if you are a paid member and then you can install on your reciver make sure auto roll is on ..

I was refering to the guide moonshiner mentioned, but it was not necessary as the directions you gave me worked out perfectly.

Its nice to see that this problem is corrected and complete.
Unfortunately Nobody seem to noticed that rond1946 had initially posted this in the Technical and Registration help thread which should have been moved to proper section at the beginning of posting.

I am looking at the new keys which I entered this morning but as yet there are channels I cannot view. IE movies and sports. Also I guess I do not know the significance of "Active" relating to the keys. Is there an input somewhere for this?
