Chat colors

I am using safari and when I try to choose a different text color from the drop down the colors dont show in the drop down. If I choose one, the text color will change but I dont know what color it is going to be until I choose an empty box from the list.

Sounds like safari is color blind. Don't know safari but it sounds like a settings issue in the browser.
