Hello Dyrenium, sorry to hear that you want to leave ABA. The membership is totally free, every member receives help and are given the same respect whether they have upgraded their membership or not (there is a nominal fee to upgrade your membership which is strictly optional). This site has the friendliest group of people and everyone helps each other...no charge! When the ECM hits, you can get online here the same as an upgraded member. We have some of the top FTA gurus that are here to help you out, step by step....no charge. Hope you change your mind and continue to be a part of our membership, but if you feel you can't, I would like to wish you the best wherever you go. Thanks

Re: Cancel membership not interested to pay anything
as peggy stated membership is totally free and all of us will help you in anyway possible the vip membership does cost a little but that is to enable us to be up and running wide open during ecm hits so people can get info and that is why we have the vip group to be able to access certain areas of the forum

Re: Cancel membership not interested to pay anything
As a person who scrolls through every possible fta site on the net. I can personally tell you only the official sites get them faster then us. We have about 10 or more people constantly on the look out after an ecm. You may join any site you wish, but you will not receive the same support.

Re: Cancel membership not interested to pay anything
The only problem I had was that my membership was continued for an additional year without being notified. I didn't know until I saw my bank statement. I believe people should be asked if they want to re-new and not have money deducted from their bank accounts. I didn't say anything as I would have said yes, but maybe next time I might call my bank and
and dispute the charge as it did kind of piss me off.

You paid through pay pal, and its a recurring charge...you may cancel the recurring payment option on the pay pal website.

Re: Cancel membership not interested to pay anything
Smokie, you have the steamiest of your bank every month, or they let you know when the pay some thing.
Why you wait so long , is almost a year and half, pass.
And you enjoy your TV . !!!!!do you?

Re: Cancel membership not interested to pay anything
You can go straight to some stb's official site (cs, vs, hs for example) they are free but when e cms are in effect that site is swamped and often inaccessible. This is where site admins get their updated bins. If the get them there they come pre-tested. Another off shore site was home for the cptn box but had a dispute with the coders over $ I believe. So the machine was left unsupported. Then some coder from the previous team volunteered to create fixes for free. That site has nonpaying-member blackout periods after brand-wide e cms but then opens up a day or 2 later to everybody.
What you are getting is a place that knows how to find this for you somewhat safely.
Lots of machines (4tec, p@nsat) were bricked by killer bins at the stb makers direction. Saying they were worried about clones. (hey, use a unique motherboard and problem solved. stop repackaging the same machine 4 other companies use) Problem with this is they are getting involved in the "new" bin biz, which is a no-no. cs ( alledgidly) tried this last year forcing a new product line by auto-obsoleting their cs*000 line. Those boxes are
working again. It appeared they were getting too close to the "new" bins also. Plus the bad reputation they received was affecting new stb sales. ( alledgidly)

No, when I pay for something for a year it only shows up once on my bank
steamiest. If yours shows up once a month then you must have the pay as you go plan.
As some of the other posts said about automatic renewal I didn't notice it
and thanks for bringing it my attention.
